HOW TO COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS
MAGIC HAPPENS WHEN YOU WORK WITH OTHER ENTREPRENEURS
Are you feeling stuck in your business? Of not progressing and struggling to build your clientele? Then there’s a chance you’re missing one of the most important (and simplest) ways to grow your brand. Collaborating with others allows you to expand your business quickly and to reach a new audience that you haven’t before. Whether you’re just starting out, or looking for new ways to bulk up your followers, these tips will help you connect with and learn from other entrepreneurs like yourself!
0 1 . GET SOCIAL
Find people who you would love to work with or learn from. Start commenting on their posts REGULARLY. Comment on their Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter feeds and start a conversation with them.
0 2 . GO TO or CREATE A MEET UP!
If you don’t feel like you have a community, MAKE ONE. In the early days of my career, I saw on a fellow photographer's Twitter feed that they were setting up a coffee date. You BETTER BELIEVE I made it a priority to be there!
0 3 . JOIN FACEBOOK GROUPS
Meeting new people is a great way to find others in the industry to collaborate with, gain great business insight, or even meet your next client.
0 4 . JUST GET OUT THERE
If you are working from your dorm room or locked away in that extra bedroom at home, you are missing the opportunity to be out and meet new people! Even if you have an office at home, make it a priority to go to a coffee shop several times a week to work. Being out and about is going to give you more opportunities to meet people, get inspired by the world around you, and get social.
0 5 . HIT UP YOUR PAST CLIENTS
Your clients or customers have jobs too, I'm sure a few of them are in similar situations and might want to work together. So don't forget to get social and connect with the people you are already in contact with.
At Maebeck, we help businesses with their social media by creating Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Youtube content. For those that want to take their social media to the next step, hit us up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
